Tempeh and Veggies

Here is my beautiful lunch! So Yummy! It was so delicious and quite filling.

Abby talked about trying this new Rice Pilaf that Kashi makes and I saw it in the store so I thought I would give it a try. It was quite good with the stir fry. It does have quite a few calories but so worth it. A cup is 220 calories, 4g fat, 7g fiber and 8g protein. I had a half a cup which worked out nicely.

It is called 7 whole Grain pilaf and the ingredients include, water, whole : oats, long grain brown rice, rye, hard red winter wheat, triticale, buckwheat, barley and sesame seeds. It comes in a convenient microwaveable package that took a total of 90 seconds to heat. Love it! Will definitely by that again. Not sure how it would be by itself but it was a great addition to the stir fry.

I am back and like I said I have begun to post pictures of my new eats!! Here is my lunch for today. I had left over Tempeh from yesterday so I made a stir fry with it. The chunks that look like meat are the Tempeh. So good!!

I took by hour walk this morning and burned 383 calories now I have to push myself into getting some cleaning done. While in the kitchen I was able to: clean out the microwave, clean the top of the stove and wipe down all the cabinets. Check those things off my list. I also folded the laundry that has been sitting in the dry. If I can get a few more things done today I will be feeling good.

It all goes well I will post my dinner for tonight and my snack. Hope you enjoy seeing my new eats!
