I'm frustrated and just felt like I need to be honest with myself and reach out for support. Yesterday I was very active and just did not eat enough and thought I could handle it. Well that totally back fired and I ate all evening! So frustrating. Before this occured I had one of my favorite meals with tempeh, broccoli slaw, whole wheat pasta, green onions, crushed peanuts, garlic and peanut oil. Yummy!!
I had a little refried beans left in the refrigerator so I made some yummy nachos for lunch. Instead of sour cream I jused fage 0% greek yogurt and bought guitless corn chips. Was a filling and delicious lunch.
Since I was meeting Kim to do our 5.5 mile walk I threw this in my bag for a quick snack. My activity yesterday was one hour of strength training with my trainer, 40 minutes of cardio at the gym and a 5.5 mile walk with Kim. I ate lunch at 11:30 had my clif bar at 7:00 and didn't eat my dinner until 8:00 and then the snacking began and didn't end until I made myself go to bed at 10:00 so I would stop eating.
I decided I wanted to try this recipe for breakfast. It was bulgur(cracked wheat), 1/2 diced apple, cranberries. The bulgur was cooked in 1/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup 100% apple juice.
Because the bulgur is tiny, the apples and cranberries dd the right amount of bite and texture to make this a hearty breakfast.

Well, you know I can sure sympathize! It's strange how our bodies rebel when we haven't eaten enough. I find that happens to me when I'm unsatisfied or didn't like what I ate, too.
You can feel good about the fact that you exercised like crazy and got back on track with your next meal:) It's all good!!!
